Financial coaching provides a safe space for you to work towards your financial goals. During your coaching session, you will get to know your financial coach, share your story, provide some more details about your financial situation, and work together with your coach to build an action plan. You will also review your credit report and score. Your coach can also provide tools and support in reducing stress over your finances or tackling your burning financial questions. Sessions can be conducted via phone or video chat.
No, we will do a “soft pull”, which has no effect on your credit report and score.
With TrustPlus, you get 12 months of access to the help you need—at no cost to you. As you work to reach your goals, your coach will continue to offer resources and guidance to support you, and you can contact them at any time. Connect as often or as little as needed via phone, video, chat or text.
As a client, you will have access to a team of financial coaches who are dedicated to helping improve your financial wellness and that of your colleagues. If the coach you choose is not available when you need them, our team of coaches will be there to support you. They are all trained in our unique methods to make sure you can success in reaching your goals. We will do our best to honor your preferences, but coach availability will vary.
A Personalized Approach
Unlike some financial coaching or coaching agencies, TrustPlus coaches will work with you individually to learn more about the goals you want to achieve and the unique circumstances of your financial situation and then partner with you in creating an action plan that is specific, relevant, and achievable for you. At other agencies, you might be taught a bunch of financial topics or be given a general laundry list of to-dos. And with other financial apps, your advice might come from algorithms and artificial intelligence. A combination of people and technology, TrustPlus reinforces our human guidance with relevant and safe financial products and tools to make our recommendations real, easier to adopt, and to help you make the most of every hard-earned paycheck.
Trustworthy
Unlike many financial advisors or financial companies, TrustPlus has your best interest at heart. Coaches will listen to you and provide guidance based on what is right for you and your family. We do not sell products or receive commissions. As a nonprofit, we’re unbiased and entirely motivated by your success and the changes that you will experience in your life after working with our coaches.
Technology and Convenience
TrustPlus coaches understand that you are busy and have limited time and energy to devote to working on your finances. Therefore, TrustPlus uses simple and user-friendly technology that will allow you to do everything you need at a time and place that is convenient to you. Individual coaching sessions are conducted via phone or video chat; and personalized financial action plans are delivered through an interactive online platform that you can access 24 hours a day. And to further assist you in staying on track among all of your responsibilities of daily life, TrustPlus will send you reminders based on the action items that you created with your financial coach.
Credit repair companies often charge upwards of $100/month to dispute errors on your credit report. This is something that you could do yourself for free, and our coaches arm you with the necessary tools to do so. Debt settlement companies promise to eliminate your debt burden, but it comes at a high price as your credit is often damaged during the process. They typically charge a fee of 25% of the settled debt. As with disputing errors on your credit report, this is something you can do yourself for free, and our coaches re here to provide the guidance and support throughout the process.

If your credit files are frozen, TrustPlus may not be able to access your credit report. A credit freeze prevents credit reporting agencies from releasing your credit report to potential creditors, and coaching agencies that includes TrustPlus.
However, if you want to review your credit report with TrustPlus while your credit files are frozen, you can temporarily lift the freeze with the credit reporting agencies. You will need to contact each credit bureau individually to request a temporary lift of the freeze, and they may require you to provide some information to verify your identity. Once the freeze is lifted, TrustPlus can access your credit report.

If you are expecting a call from your financial coach and are concerned that it might be flagged as spam or blocked by your phone's filters, there are a few things you can do to ensure that the call goes through:
1. Add the coach's phone number to your contacts: By adding your coach's phone number to your contacts, you are telling your phone that this is a trusted number, and that calls from this number should be allowed through.
2. Check your phone's blocked numbers list: Make sure that your coach's phone number is not on your phone's blocked numbers list. If it is, remove it from the list to allow the call to come through.
3. Disable spam call blocking: Some phones have built-in spam call blocking features that can sometimes block legitimate calls. Check your phone's settings to see if this feature is turned on, and disable it temporarily if necessary.
4. Contact your phone carrier: If you continue to have problems receiving calls from your financial coach, contact your phone carrier to see if they are blocking the calls. They may be able to add the number to a whitelist to allow it through.
5. Provide an alternate number: If all else fails, consider providing an alternate number to your financial coach, such as a work number or a friend's phone, to ensure that you receive the call.
By taking these steps, you can help ensure that you receive the important call from your financial coach and avoid any potential issues with spam filters or call blocking.
